- Animation is more than just moving something from A to B. It's about achieving the illusion of life. And just like in life, it's not about where we're going but how we get there. To be clear, this is not a character animation course. Rather it is a course that will teach you the essentials of how to put character into your animation. Animation is intrinsically complex and its difficulty increases exponentially as you progress, so it's vital that we get the fundamentals right. These fundamentals, while conceptually simple to understand, can be be quite difficult to achieve. Thus in these lessons we will use basic shapes like cubes and spheres that are pre-rigged so that we can explore animation principles like Squash & Stretch, Arcs of Motion, Overlap, and various other fundamentals of animation without being tied down to the technical constraints that would normally hold us back. We'll even take a look at the principles behind creating the rigs of this course. In short, we will discuss everything you need to bring your 3D creations to life!

- Equalizers are the most commonly used and misunderstood tool in an engineer’s toolkit. The ability to bend, shape and carve frequencies at-will is an audio superpower not to be taken lightly. - In this tutorial, Grammy winner Fab Dupont explains everything you need to know about: Fully Parametric and Semi-Parametric EQ, High and Low Shelves, Bell curves and Q settings, High Pass and Low Pass filters (aka Low Cut and High Cut filters), Frequency graphs, Analog vs Digital EQs, Personal tastes (sonically) and how to find the right tools to match, The subtle differences between the hundred of different EQs available
- Learn the theory and concepts you need to know about EQ controls and parameters so no matter what EQ is put in front of you, you’ll be able to mold the sound to your liking with no second guessing.

- Ask most photographers where they could stand to improve in their post processing and they will talk about how little they know about how to get their colors to look realistic and to match what they felt / saw / experienced and want to convey. While color may be something that we never fully master, we can look to an industry expert to help us close that gap!
- Blake Rudis is a retired USAF Combat Veteran and a classically trained artist who started as a painter. Blake transitioned into printmaking and sculpture where he received his BFA in Fine art from the University of Delaware. This education and background is the basis of how he incorporates his knowledge of aesthetics and color theory in his courses and is known for his acclaimed Photoshop® workflow.
- Get ready to explore the world of color theory and its application in photography, presented from an artistic, painterly perspective. Join us in this enlightening event as we dive into the nuances of color, blending the worlds of painting and photography to enhance visual storytelling. Learn how painters manipulate colors to evoke emotions and convey narratives and discover how photographers can translate these principles into their work. Blake Rudis of f64 Academy, a former painter – now photographer, will guide you through essential color theory principles and demonstrate how they can be adapted to photographic compositions. Let’s enrich your post processing prowess with Color Theory and cultivate a deeper, more intuitive understanding of color in your imagery.
