In the introduction, Sue will give you a rundown on the different strobes. She will give you a few tips to help you find which one will work for your business. In the second segment of the Basic Strobe Setups course, you will see the Elinchrom Video. In this video, you will sit in on a shoot with Sue where she shows you a comparison in the different lights and how to angle them to get different looks.

Gerson Lopes demonstrates his method of “speed shooting” celebrities and high-profile clients who don’t have time for a standard shoot. Celebrities don’t book standard photo shoot because there are so many photographers who already want to shoot them. They typically will hire a photographer before hitting the red carpet, so that they can have their own images of red carpet looks that they have approved of. This means a photographer will typically only have about 15 minutes with them in a hotel room before the celebrity heads to the event. Learn how to get amazing shots in just 15 -20 minutes. While Gerson developed this speed shooting method for working with celebrities, you can adapt this to your own studio for other clients who are pressed for time, or just so you can make the same amount of money in less time.
