We all start life with curiosity and a desire for adventure, but as we get older we can start to feel disconnected from others, nature, and our true selves. How do we rediscover excitement and adventure in our own lives?  I believe the answer is exploring and reconnecting with the natural world. In this class, I’ll share a practice that combines the benefits of nature, mindfulness, and creativity through exploration.

• Watch as Sue takes you through 4 core scenarios: Sitting, Standing, Wall Lean, and Lying Down. She teaches you how to make the poses flow and why it works. Flow is essential to achieve stunning, fashion-type portraits that don’t look stiff or forced. You will learn so much –including 50 different poses — in such a short time with these courses. • Sitting: Sue goes through 4 out of her 5 compositions, showing how to rotate away and that the gradual rotation can change the look and light tremendously. Plus so many tips about how to change the body language of the photo by changing the pose in various ways.
• Standing: She shows how to bring the arms and legs into the frame and make it look natural. You’ll learn how to use different stances and your clients’ hips to get a beautiful line for their portraits.
• Wall Lean: The wall is the perfect place to pose because it gives your clients something to lean on, which makes them feel safe, secure, and solid. Plus, they aren’t looking for something to do with their hands because they are leaning. Sue goes over the different poses she uses with the wall.
• Lying Down: Using the couch, Sue goes over a few sitting poses again and then gets into the lying down posing. Sue shows how moving certain limbs in certain ways can make a shot go from innocent to sexy in no time!

• Sue takes us through an exact replica of her flow posing shoot with a woman, but this time she modifies it for a man. Watch as Sue makes each small adjustment, taking the feminine poses and turning them more masculine. She teaches you how to make the poses flow and why it works. Flow is essential to achieve stunning, fashion-type portraits that don’t look stiff or forced. You will learn so much in such a short time with this course. She shares so much knowledge about posing including things you may not have even ever thought of. Things like never lining up a man’s chin and shoulder as you would a woman’s. Or, never having a man touch his body like you might have a woman do. You would want a man’s elbows and shoulders to be broad and boxy, whereas, for a woman, we are always trying to slenderize and soften. All of these tips, plus more, will help you during your photoshoots with your male clients. • In this course, Sue compares her flow posing men course to flow posing a boy. She will take you through the 60+ poses from the flow posing men course with her 11-year-old client. This will show you the difference between what would be a suitable shot for a man and then for a boy. As you’re watching, she will walk you through the changes she’s making and why. Or, there might be a pose that doesn’t work at all for the boy like it did the man. Therefore, you just skip that pose altogether. Most importantly, she will explain these things to you in an easy to understand way so that it will make sense to you, which will help you in your next photo shoot. • Mastering flow posing is a great way to have a lot of poses in mind. It’s a great technique to learn because you will always have another pose on deck if something just isn’t working for your client. The more you study and practice, the more natural flow posing will come.
