The Portrait System - Victorian Style Shoot
The Portrait System - Victorian Style Shoot
Today we get to watch Sue during a Victorian Style shoot. Sue had an idea for a Victorian style shoot and she loved doing this shoot so much that she felt overwhelmed and nearly cried during it. She wanted to show you how you can get really creative with styling your client. Sue used two different gorgeous dresses for two different looks from an incredible dress designer R-Mine Bespoke and she shot her on her gold Oliphant backdrop. With a shoot like this, you want to feature the dress and hair and hairpiece, but don’t lose sight of making sure your client is still the focal point of the shoot.

Peter Coulson Photography - Bella Boots
Peter finally has some time to do more of ‘his stuff’, and so we flew the awesome Bella over from LA for some shoots to create some awesome images! This shoot was one of their first ones together, adding on to Peter’s ‘nothing but boots’ series. Peter showed Bella the images he has already taken for the series and one of them really stood out to Bella in terms of lighting, so Peter tried to take this similar feel but also create a new awesome shot for the series!

The Gnomon Workshop - Creating 360 Concept Art for Production
The Gnomon Workshop - Creating 360 Concept Art for Production
Duration: 5h 20m Format: HD 1920x1080
In this workshop, Matte Painter, Concept Artist and Art Director Nick Hiatt shares his process for creating 360 Concept Art for Production. Using 2D techniques in Photoshop and After Effects, as well as 3D tools such as Maya, ZBrush, Daz3D and V-Ray, Nick demonstrates how to combine both 2D and 3D approaches together seamlessly to create stunning 360 images. The ability for the viewer to see an environment in its entirety, just by moving the camera around, has created a new art form which is quickly gaining industry adoption. However, this new methodology creates a challenge for artists as one is no longer constrained to the camera crop of the environment. In this tutorial, Nick shows his process, shortcuts and differing techniques that allow for greater ease and efficiency, while also covering the pros and cons of each workflow. For those interested in presenting their environment designs in a far more immersive and engaging manner, this title is an amazing resource from a leading industry artist.

The Gnomon Workshop - Cinematic Lighting in Unreal Engine 5
The Gnomon Workshop - Cinematic Lighting in Unreal Engine 5
Duration: 2h 12m Format: HD 1920x1080
This advanced 2-hour workshop covers the Unreal Engine 5 lighting workflows that Naughty Dog Lighting Artist, Ted Mebratu, uses to achieve cinematic results. Unreal’s Lumen is a very powerful Global Illumination system. However, when comparing it to static/baked methods, it can take some of the artistic control that Lightmaps make available to lighting artists. In addition, due to performance constraints of current hardware, there’s a limitation to how many runtime light sources you can place within a given scene using Lumen. With Lightmaps, however, this budget is practically infinite.

PhotoCASA - AI for the Photographer
https://shop.photocasa.ru/product/neuralnetwork/

You've probably all already seen impressive pictures on the Internet, and then were surprised to learn that they were generated by a neural network in a couple of seconds. And if you are a creative person, an author of visual content, then perhaps this even offended and upset you. “Neural networks will replace all artists, designers and photographers! Now everyone can make a professional image in a couple of clicks!” - fussologists shout on the Internet. But what if we approach this issue from a rational perspective and with a willingness to learn?  What if you harnessed all the capabilities of neural networks and used them in your creativity and work? We were given a new, very powerful tool that can realize all our wildest ideas without leaving home. And not everyone can use it, but only those who are ready to learn new things.  And authors have a big advantage at the start - this is your developed taste, previous experience, understanding of what the client needs and how to make money on visual content. How can a photographer use these technologies?

Lara Jade Education - The Fashion Posing Guide
https://www.larajadeeducation.com/pdf-guides/fashion-posing-guide
The Fashion Posing Guide is a comprehensive PDF posing guide created exclusively for fashion, portrait & bridal photographers!
With over 190+ pages and over 150+ poses to follow, this guide will easily become your studio companion! Use it to reference poses, learn more about about the foundations of posing (including many of my tried and tested techniques) and discover new posing workflows with the themed posing guides (Classic, Cover, Edgy & Dynamic Poses).
The concept of this guide came to me quite a few years ago when I realized there wasn't much information out there on successful fashion posing. Everything I saw felt outdated and geared towards glamour/portrait photography. It was there and then that I decided that I needed to make a change for the better and I started teaching more about posing during my in-person workshops.
