This class is for beginners and those who already have experience with Blender and want to learn Azusa's workflow. She will teach almost everything she knows in this course. Each week we will dive into a new topic, and by the end of the course you will have created over 10 amazing pieces of art and mastered sketching in Blender. Plus, your life as an artist will be so much more fun with Blender! (REALLY!) Azusa has put a ton of effort into making this class intense and fun, so be sure to put your time and energy into it! ONLINE WORKSHOP //Character sketching in 3d// with  Azusa Tojo.

Day 1:

– Warm greetings and introductory remarks by Azusa and students

– Insights into the artist’s journey, transitioning from studying economics in university to embarking on a career in the movie/animation industry
– Overview of essential tools for character sketching in Blender
– Live demo of the character design process using photos, delving into core design principles such as Storytelling, Gesture, Guiding the Viewer’s Eye, Achieving Balance, and etc.
Day 2:

– Assignment for students: ‘Sketch a character from photo, enhancing Charm in Character Designs’ – Azusa will review and provide feedback or model over students’ scenes.

Day 3:

– Morning dedicated to students finalizing their assignments.
– Q&A session
– Recommended materials:
PC, laptop, Blender, and Photoshop.
