What you will learn

Art-Directed Cloth

Learn to optimize Vellum simulations for realistic, fast-moving characters. We’ll cover techniques for setting up cloth properties, handling collisions, and achieving smooth animation.

Explosive Energy FX

We’ll use Pyro to create a swirling wind trail and POPs for dust that interacts with it, leaving a trail in the character’s wake. Customize the wind and dust effects to match your scene.

Nuke Compositing

We will explore different ways that you can dramatically change the entire shot by adjusting the light passes. We will also create additional volumes and God rays directly in Nuke, to emphasis our lighting even more
