Extension for importing and exporting Autodesk .3ds files with all possible properties like ambient, atmosphere settings, meshes, materials, textures, cameras, lights and animations.

This extension was part of Blender 4.1 bundled add-ons. It is now available as an extension.

It’s minimalistic. The addon is designed to be as unintrusive as possible. It only takes one hotkey (D by default) and doesn’t have any UI (other than the menu itself)

It’s quick. It’s designed to be used with one hand, so you can keep your other hand on the mouse. It also promotes usage of accelerator keys, i.e d11 to Separate/Join, d13 to Hide/Unhide, etc

It’s customizable. You can remove any button from the menu, reorder them, create your own submenus through a JSON config. You can also add your own operators to it, even if they come from third-party addons!

• Conceived as an exploration of geometrical typedesigns of the early 20th century, Canaro developed into a font of that period with a modern streak. The lack of spurs provide a unique but unobtrusive appearance and support the contemporary character. In addition, the open shapes in combination with a tall x-height, create legibility in small text sizes. Typographic features like alternative lettershapes, ligatures, oldstyle numbers, arrows, fractions, special characters and many more, round up the whole family. Canaro is available in nine weights plus matching italics. Ranging from sharp and elegant thinner cuts to sporty and athletic heavy weights.

Based on the Zangrahel illustration, we modeled with ZBrush the anatomical base trying to be as close as possible to the illustration.

Later, in the pose phase we tried to respect the pose of the illustration, and we made small adjustments to make it work in all views.

With the pose already made and approved, we modeled in 3D the different elements of the figure, like the arms and the base.

Once finished the modeling we detailed all elements and prepared the figure for production.
