Design with color & light has been designed to focus on high level digital painting as well as the rendering process. Students will be using value & light to emphasize story telling, mood, emotion and other narrative points. Each week, we will cover how to learn the process of ideation exploration using value and color. Composition and framing will be an additional focus with developing techniques of natural and inventive lighting.
This course is 10 weeks in duration and meets once per week for 3 hours per meeting.
Each week, the online classes are live at the specified time (PST timezone) in a private GOTO-MEETING classroom. Classes are recorded and students can rewatch via stream for the duration of the term. Class links, teachers notes, class recordings along with homework submission will be hosted on a private class DISCORD.
