Cavity Pass is a blender Addon that allows you to render and composite a cavity pass of your render to add fake bevel and light effects.
You can preview the Cavity pass by clicking the preview button. Note that this is not the actual cavity pass but a low contrast preview of it. The actual pass is processed to add more contrast. Once you are happy with the settings just click the render button and an image with the processed cavity pass will be added to the compositor node tree.

Lens Sim is a Blender addon created to simulate camera lenses based on real-world optical data. By extending the standard blender camera you can easily choose and render dozens of lenses in Cycles. By simulating the physical characteristics of glass and the aperture opening we get common lens effects such as chromatic aberration, vignetting, distortion, lens softness, focus breathing and natural bokeh shapes. These effects contribute to the organic, imperfect look of physical photography. The standard camera provides an idealized, perfect clean render that misses out on these unique characteristics, making images feel sterile or too "perfect," which can detract from a "film-like" look. This addon inspires to improve that.

In this Bootcamp , I give aspiring editors feedback on their job application strategies. For context: Students in the Go-To Editor course have the chance to apply for a real job with a director who has an edit-ready film. Round 1 consists of an application that includes a top sheet (two questions they need to answer about why they want this job and what they've learned that might be helpful for the job), showing two scenes they cut in the course, and additional outside work/reel/resume. Most people never see or get feedback on their applications, so they don't know what actually stopped them from taking the next step in the interview process (e.g., getting a meeting).
