The Portrait System - Teen Girl Flow Posing
The Portrait System - Teen Girl Flow Posing
In the Teen Girl Flow Posing course, Sue guides you through the right and wrong way of posing a teen girl. You might remember from her Flow Posing: Woman course, that it’s all about the diamond. With a teen girl, you are able to close that diamond without the pose suffering. Sue will show you different ways to pose her teen model so you can capture great photos that match her age. You never want to use any of the more suggestive posings with a teen girl, so Sue shows you how to shut that down and how to stick with the more age-appropriate posing.

In this tutorial I explain and show all the secrets behind this look and style. I show and explain how the light was made as well and tale you through the whole post-production process. Both light and edit is important for this look. I also do a different style of color grading that I don’t show in any other video here.

Length: 53 minutes (all in real time and recorded in one piece)

Eric Bennett - \

This tutorial video shows how I process high contrast scenes with intense lighting and deep shadows. I also review all the other exposures I took in the field of these scenes while the lighting was changing and articulate my process of trying different compositions and how I ended up selecting the exposures that I edited.  The main techniques demonstrated are: using luminosity masks to target specific areas and add midtone contrast, color separation, depth, and definition to the scene in a non-destructive way. I also show ways to simplify the color palette, enhance light, improve tonality, add drama, time blend, minimize and clone out distractions, improve visual flow, precisely correct lens distortion, and resize and sharpen for the web. Most importantly, my concise and deliberate workflow is very easy to follow and implement in your own scenes.   PSD files are included to follow along with. You do not need to purchase any external plug-ins, apps, or programs in order to achieve the results shown in this video. You will only need Camera RAW/Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop.

The Wedding School - Shooting for the Album
The Wedding School - Shooting for the Album
At The Wedding School’s LIVE Pricing for Profit summit at WHCC, Susan Stripling taught an hour-long class on Shooting for the Album. Many wedding photographers struggle when documenting a wedding day and translating that coverage into an album design for their clients. Should you be thinking about the album layout while you’re shooting, working from a “shot list” to ensure you fill all the template slots in your album design? Should you photograph the wedding without considering the album design at all, and decide on the layout later? Is there even a right decision? And what about album aesthetic? Do you like negative space, busy album designs, collages, or a more fine art approach? Where do you even begin? By the end of this class, Susan Stripling will have laid out all actionable steps so that you can incorporate album design easily into your wedding photography workflow!
