• Split Blur v1.5.0 (aescripts) is a creative kaleidoscopic / split-style blur plugin for After Effects that produces an organic, painterly “dreamy” blur while still letting you preserve detail by blending a blurred layer with a clean duplicate above it. The effect works by creating multiple offset “splits” of the image arranged around the original, where the split distance is driven by pixel luminance, so highlights and shadows can separate differently for a more dynamic, trippy look.
