Designed by Margaret Calvert / Kinneir, Calvert, Tuhill Ltd. c. 1970 for British Airports Authority. Specifically for internally illuminated shop fascia signs, as distinct from the direction signs at Gatwick Airport. New Airport Dot is a revival of the original lettering, previously available as lowercase letters only and in a single weight, New Airport DOT is now available with capitals, lowercase, numerals (lining & non-lining) and punctuation across 5 distinct weights.
