SST Arabic Font Family
SST Arabic - Four Weights from Light to Bold $129

4 Fonts | OTF/TTF | RAR 6.1 MB | SALE PAGE

  • Designed for global branding and supporting 93 languages, the SST® typefaces blend the organic readability and controlled structure of modern sans serif designs. In combining these attributes, the SST family is understated, versatile – and sure to be a timeless design. The SST Arabic family has 4 fonts in total. It spans four weights from light to bold. SST’s subtle design traits provide a quietly handsome and consistently friendly typographic presence that can be used for just about any typographic application. Broad range branding applicability combined with coverage for almost a hundred languages, makes SST one of the most widely accessible and usable typefaces available. Originally designed in partnership with the global consumer brand, Sony, the SST family is one of the most comprehensive type families available. Since extensive multi-lingual support was a critical design goal from the beginning, Akira Kobayashi, Monotype type director and primary designer on the project, turned to a network of local designers around the world for their individual language expertise. As a result, the details – which could be as subtle as stroke curvature and width – are consistent across Latin, Greek, Cyrillic, Arabic and multiple Asian languages. SST performs equally well in print and on-screen and the designs can be used at very small sizes in packaging and catalogs; while massive print headlines – even complicated wayfinding projects pose no stumbling blocks to the family’s typographic dexterity.

Sada Arabic 6xOTF $129

Sada Arabic 6 Fonts $129

6 OTF Fonts | Designer: Saad D. Abulhab | RAR 795 KB | SALE PAGE

  • Sada is a text font designed with hand held devices and ebooks in mind. Glyphs are designed to be larger than usual and very clear with soft visual characteristics and many traditional Arabic calligraphic transitional features incorporated to improve legibility. The word “sada” means “echo” in Arabic. Even though Sada is a cursive style font it offers clearly distinguished and visually unified letter shapes in every position of a word. Sada supports all Arabetic scripts covered by Unicode 6.1, and the latest Arabic Supplement and Extended-A Unicode blocks, including support for Quranic texts. It comes with three weights, regular, bold, and ultra-light. Each weight has normal and left-slanted “italic” styles. The script design of this font family follows the Arabetics Mutamathil Taqlidi style and utilizes varying x-heights. The Mutamathil Taqlidi type style uses one glyph per every basic Arabic Unicode character or letter, as defined by the Unicode Standards, and one additional final form glyph, for each freely-connecting letter in an Arabic text. Sada includes the required Lam-Alif ligatures in addition to all vowel diacritic ligatures. Sada’s soft-vowel diacritic marks (harakat) are only selectively positioned with most of them appearing on similar lower or upper positions to emphasize they are not part of letters. Kashida is zero width glyph.

Hazim Arabic 2 Fonts $69

2 OTF Fonts | Designer: Saad D. Abulhab | SALE PAGE
  • Hazim is a display font designed with isolated letters. It uses thin white slits positioned within extra bold black space glyphs emphasizing the main visual characteristics of the Arabetic letters in two positions: initial/medial and final/isolated. The spacing widths between glyphs match that of the slits to give a virtual cursive look and feel. The name Hazim was chosen to honor a friend of the designer, Hazim al-Khafaji. Hazim supports all Arabetic scripts covered by Unicode 6.1, and the latest Arabic Supplement and Extended-A Unicode blocks, including support for Quranic texts. It comes with one weight and a left-slanted “italic”. Hazim includes the required Lam-Alif ligatures in addition to all vowel diacritic ligatures. Hazims’s soft-vowel diacritic marks (harakat) are only selectively positioned with most of them appearing on similar lower or upper positions to make sure they do not interfere with the letters. Kashida is enabled.

http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/fsdesign/sintesi/
Any OpenType Features West European diacritics Euro Ligatures Central Europe Baltic Turkish Other OpenType Dingbats & Symbols
You would like to express tradition by using a contemporary font? Sintesi might be exactly what you are looking for. Sintesi stands for synthesis: the unification of serif and sans-serif into a contemporary font, which surprises with different facets depending on its application.
In copy size Sintesi performs like a sans-serif. It is a compact and well readable font that fulfills all requirements of modern digital media. In larger sizes, Sintesi unfolds its traditional character. Now, its strong contrast and the perceptible feather-ductus stand out clearly, as we appreciate it in a historical old style face.
Sintesi is completed by a suitable italic. Its cursive character has more to do with writing-speed than to moderate inclination. Therefore Sintesi may be well-suited for many other purposes, not only for emphasis. The whole font family consists of 20 styles and offers a wide range of Western and Eastern European special characters, typographical ligatures, uppercase, oldstyle and fraction figures.

Are you looking for a robust, contemporary font with strong personality? Sintesi Semi might be exactly what you are looking for. Sintesi Semi is a hybrid font which manages the “synthesis” between Sans and Serif in its own way. Due to its constant stroke the favorite font of the author is closer to a sans serif and scores with its robustness and contemporary style. Its strong serifs though evoke rather a slab serif font. Sintesi Semi builds together with Sintesi (Serif) and Sintesi Sans an extended family.

Prove character too, with Sintesi Semi.

Are you looking for a robust, contemporary but nonetheless an elegant font?
Sintesi Sans might be exactly what you are looking for.
Sintesi Sans builds together with Sintesi (SemiSerif) and Sintesi Semi an extended family. However each of the three member of the Sintesi-family accomplish the «synthesis» between Sans and Serif on its own way.
Sintesi Sans scores because of its readability, robustness and contemporary style. It is a true Sans Serif and therefore really flexible, universally applicable especially as a body text font and in a broad number of other applications. Worth mentioning is the particularly slim «Extrathin» style, which elegance is not to be outbalanced. Thanks to the good readability and the wide set of styles and glyphs, Sintesi Sans suits to a wide spectrum of applications.

Any OpenType Features Basic Latin/English letters West European diacritics Euro Ligatures Central Europe Baltic Turkish Romanian OpenType Alternates OpenType Contextual
Designer: Tim Donaldson

  • From the dainty light weight through to the striking UltraBold, Otama raises the bar to a new level of dangerous sophistication. Although easily classified alongside Modern typefaces such as Didot and Bodoni, Otama was purposely developed with minimum reference to these two visual heavy weights. In search of something more than a mere historical revival, Otama instead draws proportional reference from popular 20th century Transitional and Garalde typefaces with visual inspiration coming from calligraphic studies. Many characteristics from Tim Donaldson’s 2010 display face Pyes Pa were directly passed on in execution of Otama — The shoelaced k, e and a being the most obvious examples of this family relation. Refined over 2 years with well over 8,000 characters over 28 styles, Otama certainly deserves its place as a comprehensive and versatile typeface in any designer’s font library.
