This series will break down some of my more popular images. I will use behind the scenes video of the shoot, as well a pictures of the location and will break down the entire thought process leading up to, and during the photographic process. The tutorial will end with showing the image at its SOOC state and the final edit. The straight out of the camera images in this series look VERY close to the final edit.

In this tutorial, I break down a chaotic scene and show you how I used all of those elements to create a very soft and eye catching image. During this tutorial, I will show you behind the scenes including the entire scene that I was photographing in as well as the light and light placement.

Have you ever captured an image and things just didn’t come together like you planned? This happens to every single photographer multiple times over! This image was captured at one of my Light Exposed Workshops. Initially, I felt things would work. There was lots of chaos happening around us and it happened pretty fast! Because of that, I even had some camera settings wrong. There was also disconnect I felt after I was done. I decided to look at the image to see if I could change my thinking. I did, and I shared the image and to my surprise it was extremely well received.

This image has minimal photoshop. The secret sauce is choosing the location and the light…both NATURAL LIGHT and Created light.During this tutorial, I not only break down this image, but I also show you two other images that showcase what you can capture if your equipment doesn’t match mine. I share a natural light only image as well.

In this tutorial, I will give you personal behind the scenes video as I scout areas on a PAID client shoot. I will show you the results from each location. I have been asked to do a composition tutorial a very long time ago, and I couldn't figure out HOW I wanted to do it until now. I am utilizing only natural light, with my DSLR camera. We will go over several different locations, both indoors and out!

In this Grease Pencil mini-course we will be hand animating some 2D cartoon fire! To help ourselves out, we will start by setting up a particle system that will assist us with our flame.Then we start drawing and manually loop our fire using some animation principals which will make it burn like an eternal flame.
