She’ll explain how she uses questionnaires to begin building the story of her clients before the session even starts. She’ll talk about the planning and preparation that she does with the clients in the lead up to their session to get the best quality video and audio capture on the day. Using a BTS video of her filming a family with a newborn in their home, Courtney will show you how she interacts and communicates with clients throughout the shoot. Then she’ll take you through the completed film from that session and break it down showing how she uses scenes to build the structure of the film, and how she uses b-roll footage as transitional elements to provide context and tell a cohesive story.
