• Maria is an Ohio-based stay at home mom to two that loves capturing her kids’ day to day. Like many, she didn’t get into photography until the birth of her first child.
• She says, “I took him to Portrait Innovations (I know, I know…) for some 3-month photos and spent a small fortune on the photos. I told my husband it would be cheaper for me to get a fancy camera and take the photos myself. I had no idea what I was doing but I caught the photography bug. I felt this need to document everything! About a year later I flipped to manual mode and started taking classes online and reading tutorials and articles every single day. I still do! There is ALWAYS room to grow in photography and that is one of the things I love most about it.”
