Understanding Flash Power

• In this lesson, I take a deep dive in the details of flash power. Most of the time, this will be an intuitive process as you do more and more shoots, but it’s a good idea to wrap your head around the nitty-gritty details of flash power at least once.

Sync Speed

• In this lesson, you’ll learn about Sync Speed. If you ever wonder how exactly your camera sensor captures extremely fast bursts of light from your flash, this video will tell you! And you know….it’s also important to know when working with off-camera flash in general, so no big deal.

Flash Duration

• In this lesson, you’ll learn about Flash Duration. Sync speed taught you how flashes work with your camera, flash duration will teach you how your flash can capture high-speed objects. Fun stuff!

• A very common question when starting out with off-camera flash: what light should I get?? Although, there’s never an easy answer, I guide you through some questions to help you make an informed decision.
