Fractal Noise 3D takes 3D noise far beyond what the standard After Effects effects can offer. Rather than simulating depth on a flat layer, it constructs a genuine 3D noise field in space — one that your AE camera moves through and your lights illuminate from any direction.

The result is volumetric rendering that feels physically grounded: soft light scattering through thick cumulus clouds, hazy atmospheric fog scattered by spotlights, or translucent volumes with light transmission through obstacle layers. All rendered entirely inside After Effects, no round-tripping to an external 3D app required.
