The subsequent ranger unit was sent to investigate and discovered several pieces of discarded US army equipment near the entrance of a large cave. The proceeding firefight resulted in the death of one Army ranger and the recovery of identifiable remains of the the missing patrol squad. As the squad attempted to enter the cave a 15 foot tall, red haired humanoid armed with a spear and animal pelt clothing impaled and killed a single army ranger and sustained 30 second of gun fire until falling to the ground. His body was transported back to a military facility and while little more is know about the Giant of Kandahar, the autopsy concluded than if he did play an amp….it would have been this one!
