Utilised in various projects by The Entente through the last three years of studio practice, ARCHIVE has developed into its final form. Initially conceived for a publication by Brighton-based photographic publisher Photoworks — The Myth of the Airborne Warrior by Stuart Griffiths, with its topic of the Northern Ireland conflict, ARCHIVE was drawn in a single roman weight with corresponding italics. Since then, ARCHIVE has been developed over a variety of projects including Draw, Hotshoe and various other smaller pieces of print. ARCHIVE’s strength and character lies in the feeling that it has already existed, or simply that it has been through a multiplication process prior to the viewer seeing it. This aesthetic comes from small indents on both the top and bottom of each serif (aligning parallel to the baseline and cap height). ARCHIVE is available in nine cuts — Roman, Roman Italic, Semibold, Semibold Italic, Bold, Bold Italic, Extra Bold, Extra Bold Italic and Mono. The Standard version contains Latin-A support. The Pro version includes a full set of small caps (including accented small caps), discretional ligatures, additional typographic alternates and number styles as well as Central European, Cyrillic and Greek language support. Supplied in OpenType format.Your investment is greatly appreciated.

Aperçu was started in December 2009, and has been trialled and tested through a number of design comissions taken on by The Entente through 2010. The conceit behind Aperçu was to create a synopsis or amalgamation of classic realist typefaces: Johnston, Gill Sans, Neuzeit & Franklin Gothic. Since its release in August 2010, Aperçu quickly found its position in the market, being used across a variety of different media and sectors around the world in both print and web. It has been utilized by institutions such as MOMA, De Wiels, Zeit Magazine and the Walker Art Center. It seemed a fitting point to look at extending its support for Central Eastern European and Cyrillic-based languages. Now with more than 530 characters per weight, Aperçu Pro arrives. Furthermore, bringing us to the present day, we extended Aperçu to included the heavier weights of Black, Black Italic and Mono Bold, allowing for a further graphic use at the extremities of the type family.

These DCTLs enable you to precisely select and modify a specific hue range, adjusting its saturation, density, or hue. Uniquely, these DCTLs also allow you to choose a luminance range within the selected hue, ensuring that adjustments affect only the shadows, midtones, or highlights. This targeted approach enhances precision in color grading, providing optimal control over the visual outcome.
