An opportunity arose to really appreciate the birdlife in my garden when Covid came and we went into lockdown in 2020. I had a hide, unused, and there were also plenty of birds around. I'd made nest boxes for them and had a feeder table to watch them, but I hadn't really taken time out of my day to soak it up properly. Sad as it was for so many, I found a happy place in my garden. Just me, my camera and a camoflauged tent. My presentation takes us through my first proper journey of learning to see. From bare branches to blossom, from courtship to fledglings. Over 100 days I saw a whole world of birdlife that previously had been a fleeting glimpse. I learnt to watch, to see, to capture like never before. I loved every minute of it and it is my pleasure to share the journey and the highlights with you.
