I really love a beautiful backlit black and white image. This image is beautiful as a color image, but it really stands out when I use the light to shine the spotlight on my subject as I turn it to black and white. See how I find true white and true black and bring out the amazing glitter which is lurking in the shadows of my image. With a little bit of dodging and burning and some subtle final adjustments, I’ll take this image to the dramatic portrait that it was meant to be.
