In one of my previous classes I showed you how to make a pattern repeat tile by hand, and as much as I love this method, I understand that many people prefer to draw digitally.
That is why I have created this new class where I will show you how to obtain a repeat tile, with a similar process, but using the iPad instead of pencil and paper, and you will learn to recreate, with the app Procreate, a process that is normally done by hand.
I will show you the process step by step and the best part about creating the pattern tile digitally is that you can color your motifs, and add texture and all the embellishments you like and then you can upload the pattern directly on POD websites without having to go back and forth between iPad and computer. At the end of the class you will have learned a new way to build a pattern tile that can be uploaded on POD sites like Society6, and I will even show you how to do that! Plus, you will have a new pattern for your portfolio...bonus! This class is for you if you love to use the iPad and draw digitally; it is an intermediate class so you should have some knowledge of pattern making and of using Procreate as, although I will give you a brief introduction to the app, I won't go into details on all the features in Procreate.
