Spontaneous Painting is one of the most popular video types on my YouTube channel. So I've created this workshop from one of those episodes with more realtime footage and a paint-through commentary. Spontaneous painting is a great way to practice techniques and artistic vision in your painting. As a rule I'm a firm believer in composing, planning and gathering good reference for a painting, but sometimes we just want to sit down and paint without all that. Spontaneous painting can be rewarding and yield some surprisingly delightful results.
