In this class you will learn how to draw a Llama with layered watercolors in Procreate. Starting with drawing a Llama, you'll gradually build your illustration skills as we move on to painting succulents and use the symmetry tool built in Procreate to draw piñatas. If you never drew a Llama before, this class is a good place to start. We'll cover everything that you need to know to master watercolor painting in Procreate and you'll be able to apply the techniques you learn in class to your future illustration projects.
I love the look of real watercolors in a digital illustration, and especially the dynamic and flexible workflow of drawing on the iPad. All the techniques that I’ll be showing you in class are an integral part of my daily creative workflow! Having previous knowledge of drawing in Procreate is helpful but not required. We will cover all the essential elements of the illustration starting with how to draw the Llama, picking your brushes, using multiple layers and layer masks, and learning how to paint layers of watercolors.
