There are a few ways to make repeat patterns on the ipad and right now, in Procreate 4, there is no way to get a pixel-perfect placement of your designs without the use of an additional app to help. Pixelmator has a very quick and easy way to get your Procreate art to snap into place for that perfect placement. No nudging. No gray layers to help you "eyeball it".
