• 1. Week 1: Value, Color, and Perspective
  • In this lesson, instructor Ben Fenske teaches you the three main concepts of interior painting. You will learn how to make value and color studies, and explore the importance of perspective in this genre of painting.
• 2. Week 2: Demo I - Developing Composition and Color Block-in
  • In this lesson, instructor Ben Fenske begins his first session of painting an interior scene. You will watch him develop the composition for the scene, using two-point perspective. Then, you will learn how to quickly block in the first layer of colors on your painting.
• 3. Week 3: Demo I - Adding Contrast and Refinement
  • In this lesson, instructor Ben Fenske spends a second session completing his interior painting. You will learn how to further achieve value contrast and add finishing touches to your painting.
• 4. Week 4: Demo II - Establishing Drawings and Color Block-in
  • In this lesson, instructor Ben Fenske begins his first session of painting an interior scene. You will learn to develop a well-balanced composition. Ben will teach you how to utilize color and value studies during the beginning stage of developing an interior painting.
• 5. Week 5: Demo II - Achieving Atmospheric Perspective and Refinement
  • In this lesson, instructor Ben Fenske spends a second session finishing up his interior painting. You will learn how to make adjustments on value and color after coming back to the painting with fresh eye. Ben will also teach you his technique on creating atmospheric perspective for an interior scene.
