PHLEARN - How to Use the Type Tool in Photoshop
https://phlearn.com/tutorial/photoshop-basics-the-type-tool
The Type tool adds words to your images, and it is far more powerful than it first appears. Because text in Photoshop is vector-based rather than pixel-based, you can scale it up as large as you like without ever losing quality. In this lesson we walk through every setting the Type tool offers – typefaces and weights, size, color, the full Character panel including leading, kerning and tracking, and the Paragraph panel for alignment, indents and justification – plus vertical type and type masks.
