In this tutorial you will learn After Effects to achieve the intro animation DreamWorks .


This training After Effects (which includes a short optional part Photoshop ) will be divided into 7 chapters video :

    1 - Organisation of the project ( 8 min) and pre-cutting elements (23 min - Photoshop - Optional)
    2 - Using brushes to achieve our alpha clouds . (7 min - Photoshop - Optional)
    3 - Create the scene and atmosphere basic animation. ( 50 min - After Effects )
    4 - Creation of wave water shock and the first transition. ( 1:18 - After Effects)
    5 - Scene # 2 : " The child and the Moon" , the text portion and the second transition. ( 1:07 - After Effects)
    6 - End of the second transition and final scene . (53 min - After Effects )
    7 - Completion and verification of the project, camera animation and rendering. (61 min - After Effects )

In all, this After Effects tutorial will take approximately 5:50 . ( 5:20 in After Effects and Photoshop in 30 minutes optional ) .

For this tutorial , I use After Effects CS4 release. You can easily follow this tutorial with CS2 or higher. You will just need for this training , in addition to After Effects, free plugins " CC" (which are already present by default on your software or download on the website of CycoreFX ) .

Project files and sources are provided with training , no worries at this level !

After Effects This tutorial will help you learn a lot of things and improve your knowledge , whether intermediate or beginner .
At the end of this project , you will be able to:

    A project from A to Z : Analysis of the original video, reflection on how to proceed.
    A project organized : Contracting find a specific layer very quickly thereafter.
    Recover a portion of an image and use it in After Effects - Using brushes alpha .
    Working in "3D" in After Effects ( Understanding the axes , the influence of the depth from the camera, etc ...) and tips .
    An atmosphere in our project through color correction .
    Overcome some problems with different techniques.
    Animation of an image, creating a wave, creating elements (water, .. ) in After Effects ...
    Smooth animation of the camera, project report , checking the scene ...
