To improve your sound, it includes a vast array of virtual instruments and an integrated sequencer, with synchronization features to keep every beat and bar tightly in time. You can also display song text and chord symbols on other devices, so everybody is literally ‘singing from the same sheet’. Of course, your lights and video need to be very tightly integrated with the music, so VST Live 3 allows synchronization of lights via DMX control and offers as many video tracks as you need.

Live camera production

At the same time, VST Live 3 is a complete live camera production environment and allows for manual or pre-programmed camera switching. This lets you define precise moments in your song when, for example, the camera automatically switches to a close-up of the drums or to the guitarist for their solo.

Video

Thanks to seamless integration with OBS, the entire online world is open to you. For the first time, you can pre-program not only an audio and light show, but also your live cameras for online streaming. By placing simple camera automation points in your song, different camera angles and shots can be shown at specific times, and the resulting video image can be streamed via OBS. This unique feature will take your performance to a whole new level.

Audio

Of course, VST Live 3 also streams all audio signals directly to OBS but, to make your audio setup and quality even better, we recommend using the free Steinberg MixKey streaming software. MixKey automatically adjusts your levels and is positioned in between VST Live 3 and OBS.
