Effigy Font Family

A very peculiar text typeface vaguely inspired by the work of William Addison Dwiggins; with a special focus on the cover for "Marionette in Motion: The Püterschein System Diagrammed, Described (Detroit: Puppetry Imprints, 1939)". With an exaggerated, weird modulation and an unusual stroke configuration, Effigy was developed to create a very smooth texture at body text sizes and a unique and pleasing reading texture with a hint of spices.
