Mote is available in six weights, the most extreme of which, Light and Black, are more expressive and perform best at larger sizes, while the Regular is a workhorse that makes text both charming and unobtrusive. In its own way, Mote tries to answer the question of how archetypal letterforms can still be reinvented in the 21st century.

All weights of Mote include ten different kinds of numerals. Proportional Old-style figures come as default figures in Mote. It also, however, includes Lining figures, Tabular numerals (both lining and OsF), Small Caps numerals, superior, inferior, circled and circled inverted numerals (selectable via OpenType features).
