WAV | 141.64 MB
“Turkey” is a set of 15 original analog drum breaks exploring the textures and grooves of the heavy psychedelic, prog rock, and folk Turkish era from 1967–1975. Drawing inspiration from that golden age of Turkish music, each break delivers its own distinct texture, character, and swing—complete with fills and ghost notes to avoid repetitive patterns.
With over 145 kick, snare, hi-hat, and percussion one-shots—processed through analog tube gear, tape machines like the Ampex 440b, and vintage reverbs including the RE-201, EMT 140, and natural room verbs—this collection captures the raw grit and authentic feel of late-’60s to mid-’70s heavy psych recordings. Perfect for sound designers seeking fresh cadences and rhythms beyond the traditional 4/4 click.
