• We designed Mrs White for our next book for children. We needed a clean script that would give a feeling of a primary school handwriting. Mrs White is filled with ligatures and contextual alternates which gives her very smooth line of text. Scripts shouldn't be used without lowercase letters so we added a small caps for headlines and acronyms. Check out the manual for more information on how to use Mrs White. Polish language use latin characters but we would like our Eastern neighbors to be able to enjoy Mrs White so we added cyrillic alphabet (script and caps).

• The 10th Regiment of Foot is a British military unit raised more than three centuries ago—and perhaps most famous in the U.S. for seeing action on American soil during the Revolutionary War in the Battle of Lexington and Concord and the Battle of Bunker Hill. Military Scribe is modeled after the compact, utilitarian script on the mid- to late-1770s muster rolls of the Tenth of Foot. I incorporated the work of at least three separate scribes, merging their neat old penmanship into a legible disconnected cursive. • Pilar is a new geometric sans serif typeface that was created specifically for display use. Pilar is a contemporary reimagining of European art nouveau typography.  Originally, the typeface was designed by Yury Ostromentsky in 2012 for the “Bolshoi Gorod” magazine. The new version is heavily reworked and contains three alternative sets. Now each symbol has four different variations, each with their own style and character — Regular Open, Wide Closed, Narrow and “Wild”. This allows every word or phrase to have a different look depending on the case. Alternate sets are placed in the “Stylistic Sets” panel (OpenType > Stylistic Set in Adobe programs).
