Houdini.School – HS-106 The ABCs of Exporting Animations from Houdini
http://learn.houdini.school/courses/the-abcs-of-exporting-animations-from-houdini/info
This recorded class will teach students about each of the major file formats used to exchange files between Houdini and other programs. Background (and where applicable, historical) information will be given on each format and consumption by other packages. The course will be broken into two segments: A) An introduction B) A body containing one subsection per major format and one section covering all minor/deprecated/anomalous formats.
Houdini Insight – Houdini Office Hours – 2018 – 2022 Sessions
SideFX hosts Houdini Office Hours on a biweekly basis. These are regular sessions where you can ask questions or get tips and tricks about Houdini. Each session typically ranges from 1-1.5 h in duration. Example files are linked at the top of the list of all units. This is less of a course and just more of a repository of the Houdini Office Hours sessions. Here, we cover many topics in a casual discussion style format. Office Hours are every Wednesday with rotating times so that we can accommodate your time zones. Check the schedule below for upcoming sessions, and if you miss a session we post the recordings on Houdini Insight.
This course will take you through the step necessary to create realtime foliage using Houdini.
The all-in-one stop for all things constraints. This recorded course will dive into understanding the purpose, construction, manipulation, application, and destruction of using constraints in the RBD context. Topics will cover both traditional and custom ways to create constraints to fit the needs of the scene, including building constraints from scratch to achieve full control to art direct behaviors in your simulations.

In this lesson we will start by designing cracks we will learn how to apply them to geometry easily and we will check how to add custom forces into the RBD system and work with constraints along the way, we will learn how to preserve UVs while working with Rigid Body Dynamics and also the whole bunch of other smaller tips and tricks and we will spend time on optimization once we get a decent sim result we will import our result into Solaris and render it using karma XPU and will check out materialX and how to render it faster.
In the end, we will also learn how to export RBD to Unreal Engine smoothly and we will check out how to light shade and render it in Unreal Engine
